I’ll be the first in my household to make a college degree, which’s something I hold really near to my heart.
My family and I moved to the United States in 2014 We picked Memphis as our second home to start fresh and build a much better future.
When I finished high school in 2020, I made a decision to join the Army Book so I could function full-time to aid support my family financially. Along the way, my parents always reminded me of the value of a college level. Truthfully, I fought with the decision in between picking job over college.
That changed when I discovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can earn my degree 100 % online from a recognized, nationally identified Carnegie R 1 college. The versatility of the program made it possible to balance job, life, and education and learning. Once I enrolled, I knew I made the ideal choice.
As an on the internet pupil, I stayed included with university life through occupation fairs and signing up with trainee organizations like the Culture of Human Resource Monitoring. I wanted to obtain the most out of my university experience and connect with individuals who shared my interest for HR.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of autumn semester. Thanks to the support and structure of UofM Global, I had the ability to finish solid, even making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking 4 courses while serving on active duty, and I’m happy to state I’ll be finishing in May.
Having the ability to offer my nation, support my family members, and make my level implies the world to me. I really feel prepared to tackle whatever follows.
